February Lip Wardrobe

It's been a while since I've posted, yet again.  I've spent so much of my time in the kitchen lately cooking for large groups (planning for 30 each time), and have an even larger crowd coming up this week, that any quiet moment is spent resting and relaxing or doing regular chores.  But today, while I was getting ready to go buy bulk-groceries, I had an idea for a blog post and when I finally got home, I went with it.  I think I might even make this into a series - (month) Lip Wardrobe.

Today, I bring you all the lip products (excluding lip balm) that I've used during February.  I think this is a good way for me to get an idea of what lipsticks/glosses are getting used.  It's also helping me to rotate through my lippie collection since I put all of these lipsticks in a different container instead of putting them away.  It will also let me see if one that I thought would work for my coloring based on a hand swatch should have really been sent to the de-stash pile.  After my last major de-stash (in January) all of my lip products are in 1 drawer - finally - so nothing is hiding anymore.
The two on the bottom going their own way I wore as a lip combo; the rest I wore on their own (names below).
Wet 'n Wild MegaShield Lip Colors in Lolly Popstar and Pink Slip
Maybelline ColorSensational Lipsticks in Coral Gleam and Maple Kiss
E.L.F. Moisturizing Lipstick in Cheeky
Revlon Lip Butters in Pink Truffle, Berry Smoothie, & Red Velvet
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick (mini sample) in Jilted
Maybelline lipgloss in Cranberry Cocktail
E.L.F. Matte Lip Color in Praline with Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake

I noticed that the bulk of my choices for the month were moisturizing formulas, except for 2 - the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream and the E.L.F. Matte Lip Color.  I've been battling dryness but right now my lips are slightly chapped.

Are any getting cleaned out of my stash?  Strawberry Shortcake was in my possible de-stash pile, but by layering it over Praline, I really enjoyed the combo so the lip butter has earned its spot in my lippie drawer. I liked all the others.

Did I repeat any this month?  Each day I left the house is represented by one of the lip colors (or combo) - I did not do any repeats.  It's kind of sad that I only left the house 13 times over the entire month, but I am a homemaker...

I'll try to take lip pictures of them on each time so if I do this post again for March I'll have better info/quick thoughts.  I was going to do hand swatches but my skin is in bad shape from all the dishwashing I've done lately, as well as the wild weather changes - it was 60 during the day today but snow is in the forecast for overnight and tomorrow.

Do you rotate through your lip stash regularly?  What's your favorite lip balm?
