Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette - Swatches + First Impressions

Today I'm sharing my swatches and first impressions of the relatively new and definitely limited edition Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette ( #TFSugarPop).  I purchased mine at Ulta, but it's also available at Sephora and the Too Faced site, for $36.  I got mine a few days into June as a little wedding anniversary present to myself - I can't believe it's been 13 years already!!

The box is pretty cute

It has a metal case which is kept closed with a fairly strong magnetic closure.  I just picked it up by just the lid and it stayed perfectly closed

There is a small mirror behind the "How-To Glamour Guide (smaller than the guide), I just didn't take the guide out prior to pictures.
Swatches done on bare skin, no moisturizer/primer/etc.  I didn't have to build up any of the shades, I just smoothed them out a bit since I was in an awkward position when I did my swatches.  My swatches correspond in placement to the palette itself.
top row: Malted Milk Ball, Blackberry, Blue Raspberry
middle: Strawberry Ice, Sugared Violet, Blackberry
bottom: Peach Fuzz, Bubblegum, Blue Raspberry

All but one shade felt super creamy/buttery to the touch; I thought Malted Milk Ball felt a teeny bit stiffer than the rest but still very nice.  Of the shades, it looks like there's only 3 true matte shades - Strawberry Ice, Blackberry and Blue Raspberry.   Malted Milk Ball comes across quite metallic in finish.  The rest of the shades have some type of sparkle to them, but none seem to be chunky.  In my swatches the shades that do contain some shimmer/sparkle look more satin.  The shimmers only slightly show up using the brush from the couple that I've used in eye looks.  I'd probably get better shimmer results if I used a tacky base (Milani ShadowEyez pencils or similar).  I am having fun playing with this palette - it's all I've been using the past few times I've worn makeup (not counting while we were out of state).

Is the Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette something that appeals to you?  How would you wear the Blue Raspberry or Bubblegum shades?
