Project "Finish This Stuff" Update, part 36 - November 2014

Hi!
**purchased

It's been a busy week for the Mister and I - he had us out on the golf course Tuesday through this morning...and yesterday and today we played the full 18 holes.  He's wearing me out!! and leaving me with no time to do my own thing.  Luckily I had this post all ready to go early in the week.

Anyway, let's get onto the post.  November wasn't the most product month for finishing things, but I did finish up several full-size items, plus cleared out a couple of samples and got rid of some dried out eyeliners.  Yay for cleaning out the stash!

First up, what I actually finished:
Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potions (sample card) - I used both the Brightening side and the Pore Perfecting side.  I have purchased the "brightening and tightening" formula in a full size, which I believe is just listed as brightening on the card.
Lancome DreamTone Shade 1 - bought from Dillards.  This was a nice skin serum type product.  I liked it, my skin looked nice with it on.  But I didn't really  notice any results in my hyper-pigmentation lessening; it was just more of an overall brightening effect.  It was nice but didn't "wow" me for the price (over $100).  Probably won't repurchase, but I will use up samples in my stash and any I might receive in the future.
MAC Brush Cleanser - bought from MAC counter in Macy's.  This is a really good brush cleanser.  Even after I had washed my foundation brush with my usual (baby shampoo) this cleanser still got more foundation out and left my brush looking like new.  Some times it does take a few times to get all the foundation out, but I really like how it works and how easy it is to rinse out.  Have repurchased.
Dial White Tea & Vitamin E Antibacterial Hand Soap - purchased from Walmart/Target/Giant Eagle.  I sound like a broken record with this, but this is my go-to hand soap for my bathroom.  The scent is nice and it doesn't dry my hands out.  Plus the cost is perfect.  Will continue to repurchase.
Bath & Body Works Breath Comfort Skin Conditioning In-Shower Moisturizer - bought at a semi-annual clearance sale years ago.  I was working through products stashed away in the cabinet.  I used this to shave my legs with.  I really liked the way my skin felt after using it, and didn't have any irritation.  This is long-discontinued.  Haven't touched shave gel/cream/foam since I started using an in-shower moisturizer or hair conditioner and have had less irritation after shaving.
Softsoap Pure Cashmere Body Hydrating Wash - purchased from Walmart.  This was a nice, creamy body wash.  It smelled nice, but I don't remember it being OMG this is a wonderful smell that I must buy again.  Probably won't repurchase.  I don't really have a go-to body wash brand or scent other than it can't be a super strong scent.

These last 3 items are in the "Trashed, but Not Finished" category since all 3 were too dried out to be able to apply easily to the eye.
Maybelline Unstoppable liner in Sapphire - purchased from Walmart.  I didn't really care for their interpretation of Sapphire blue so I rarely used it.  Won't repurchase.
Master Drama by EyeStudio liners in Vibrant Violet and Sapphire Strength - purchased from Walmart/Rite Aid.  Vibrant Violet is a really pretty jewel toned purple; I might repurchase Vibrant Violet since I do like purple with my eyes.  Sapphire Strength is, again, not the blue shade I was hoping for.  Plus the lid cracked at the non-opening end so the pencil really dried out quickly.  Won't repurchase Sapphire Strength.  Although I do have to say that these days I prefer gel/creme liners applied with a brush or liquid liners to pencils so...

What's your favorite way of cleaning makeup brushes?  What's your favorite type of eyeliner formula?
