NARS Blame It On Nars Cheek Palette - Swatches & First Impressions

I was super excited when i was seeing the previews on Instagram last month for the July Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  Even though I had to patiently wait for the sale to open up to non-Nordstrom card holders, I still managed to get what I wanted (although I am still waiting on the second item I ordered to arrive...hello back-order).  Oh, if you're wondering where all the nail polish posts are lately, I haven't really been buying any, other than a couple random ones from TJ Maxx.  I'm all caught up on Spring/Summer releases and haven't seen anything newly released that's caught my eye.  I do have some older manis to share (and right now I've got some patches on my nails thanks to peeling and breaking nails so I'm not doing too much to them).

So in an effort to stay more up-to-date on sharing my purchases, today I've got my swatches and first impressions of the NARS Blame It On NARS Cheek Palette.  Now the site does state that the palette is a "Beauty Exclusive" so I'm guessing that means the palette is going to be exclusive to Nordstrom.  It retails for $59 and claims to have a $160 value - I always wonder how they determine the value??
The palette (pictured below - above is the box with ingredients) is a nice, sturdy plastic with a good latch on it.  It's a little bit thicker than the Virtual Domination palette that's in my collection, but the other dimensions are the same.
Satellite of Love and Day Dream (the 2 left shades) have sparkles/shimmers, but they were very camera shy.
Swatches in the lightbox (using my cell phone since I was not happy with the regular camera's pictures).  I did build up each of the shades to get better swatches for the pictures.
I thought that Casino Bronzing Powder was matte, but it's showing up more satin in my swatches.

Normal room light...still couldn't capture the pretty gold shimmers in Satellite of Love:
As I was looking it, I got the feeling that the blushes were a little bit smaller than my other NARS cheek palette - the Virtual Domination palette - and they are.  3 of the 4 shades in the Blame It On NARS palette weigh in at 4 g. while the 4th is 4.5 g.  In the Domination palette, 4 of the colors are 4.5 g with the 5th being 10g.  There are no repeat colors between the 2 palettes.  The new Blame It On NARS palette does contain a mini ITA kabuki brush.

I haven't gotten to use the palette yet since I've only left the house far enough to go out to the garden and pull weeds, so the only "makeup" this week has been translucent powder to set my sunscreen so it doesn't run into my eyes - it's only 90 degrees and full sun...  I can't wait to put on some real makeup one of these days.  :-)

If you're curious, these are the samples I picked out:
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (2 packets, I believe 5.5 is the shade)
Shiseido Ultimate Power Infusing Concentrate
MAC Pro Eye Makeup Remover .2 fl. oz. bottle (super tiny - smaller than a Maybelline polish bottle)

Is the NARS Blame It On NARS Cheek Palette something that interests you?  Do you like NARS blushes, or are they too pricey?
