Last Chance to get My Favorite Ornament - N.O.T.D.

I've got a quick n.o.t.d post to share today before I fall asleep from the cold medicine that the Mister insisted I take.  The congestion came back full-force today and even more fatigue.  I was so tired that as soon as I woke up, I took a nap before really getting up for the day.  Maybe the kitties piled up on my legs helped that sleepiness....

Anyway, let's see what's on my nails right now.  I put this on Monday, I believe, and some nails are wearing well while others I've redone since I don't know what happened to them.  I'm not sure when I'll completely take this off as right now I'm quite enjoying the color combo.

So I thought I wanted to do a full manicure using just OPI's My Favorite Ornament, but when I got done with my pinkie and ring fingers, decided I wanted to pair it with something.  I used 3 coats of My Favorite Ornament on the previously mentioned fingers, then did one coat as a half-chevron tip on my middle fingers.
OPI My Favorite Ornament is kind of a champagne-silver-gold.  I thought it was just a super fine glitter, but I feel it could easily live in my textured drawer since it does dry down feeling like a Liquid Sand.  But that's ok, as I'm sure that a coat or 2 of Gelous would smooth things right out.  Dry time was excellent and I don't have any tip wear on the fingers wearing this.  It also worked well as once coat over a base coat.  My Favorite Ornament was from the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection.
I ended up pairing it with Sinful Colors Last Chance, a nice dark forest green creme.  I put 2 coats of this on the rest of my fingers.
Sinful Colors Last Chance got a 2 coat application, but with enough care, it could easily be a one-coater.  It's a nicely pigmented creme polish.  It does have an issue, though, and that issue is that it stains my cuticles badly, even when doing cleanup shortly after applying the polish.  Bummer.  So far, wear time has been decent with mainly just some tip wear after a couple days.
There's 2 reasons I'm not looking forward to removing this mani.  The first is that My Favorite Ornament looks like it might be a bit messy with all the glitter particles going everywhere.  The second is that Last Chance does try to stain my nails some, even with base coat.  So this could be a mess when I take these off.  Oh, well.  At least they look pretty.

Now I'm going to quickly iron the Mister's shirt and get my makeup off before this nighttime cold medicine really kicks in.  Guess who's gonna feel weird tomorrow?

Do you have My Favorite Ornament?  What other colors would you pair it with?
