Spotted, Hauled...a couple, & Swatched - Finger Paints Enchanted Winter Collection

**all items purchased by me

Today's post is a Spotted, Hauled & Swatched; yep, an older post that should have been up either November or December.  Oops.  You might get lucky, however, and still stumble across the 2013 Finger Paints Enchanted Winter collection.  After Christmas I don't remember seeing these polishes in the clearance sale (but then again, the sale's contents depend on location).  There wasn't anything on the display marking these as textured polishes, but both of the ones I picked up are - yes I only purchased the 2 that seemed the most original/wearable for me.  There's 6 total shades, and a quick Google search tells me that they are all indeed textured polishes.

The display picture - which was hard to get between the garland surrounding the shelf and the sale sign sitting in front of the display.
I skipped on Sparkle in the Sky (looked similar to OPI Alcatraz...Rocks), Enchanted Winter (looked similar to Nicole by OPI Cinna-Man of My Dreams), Snow Crystals (figured it was similar to the mini Nicole by OPI Gumdrops silver) and Midas Touch (I rarely wear gold).

I brought home these 2:
 Winter Chill and Spell Binding

Label and bottle shots (although the polishes look better in the previous picture):
~hard to capture in pictures unfortunately~

And swatches:
3 coats of Winter Chill (gray/black) and 2 coats of Spell Binding (red)

As I was typing this post, I just remembered that I had played around with the idea of doing a "Textured Tuesday (or Thursday)" to wear all of my textured polishes...and maybe count the "feathered" finishes as well.  I'm just trying to think of ways to push myself to wear more of my collection, which is hard right now since my fingers seem to be perpetually cold and nails are breaking off way too easily.  I think I need to make a sticky note on my computer for what I think I want to do on different days to get more of a schedule going (and take away writers' block that sometimes happens).

Did you happen to see the Enchanted Winter collection from Finger Paints?  Get anything?  And of course, let me know if you'd like to see either of these on my nails soon...
