FingerPaints Spell Binding

Hi!

Today's plans for what I was going to get done got totally thrown out the window when I noticed that our kitten seemed to be sneezing even more than yesterday and getting more and more congested, so I had an unplanned visit to the vet today...then that same kitten turned me into a bed (more like sucking the heat from my legs) for multiple hours, of course away from the computer.  But now that I've managed to pry him off my lap for a bit of work, it's time to get a blog post up.  Then I need to go do something with my face since it looks like it wants to crack off.  What the heck?!

Anyway, I decided that since time was short I would do a nail post.  I picked the recent FingerPaints Enchanted Winter textured polish in Spell Binding.  I wore this a few days after my birthday last month.  I believe I started off with a coat of Orly Bonder then applied Spell Binding.  I think it was 2 coats, but the second wasn't really needed - it just made it a bit more saturated in color.
Orly Spell Binding is a gorgeous raspberry-red-burgundy with pretty multi-colored shimmer running nicely throughout for extra interest, especially when the light hits just right.  It's like an amped up, touch darker/more red version of Nicole by OPI My Cherry Amour.  I'd say that the shimmers are a touch bigger, which is probably what makes it look like an amped up version of My Cherry Amour.
I rarely get good wear time from really any brand of polish (which is why I tend to change my manis so often) so there's not much point in me putting anything about wear time.  It might have been a couple days, but it all depends on what I've got to do around the house (a.k.a. how much time are my hands going to be in water).

I'm not sure if this pretty is still available at Sally's Beauty Supply anymore, but like I said earlier, the Nicole by OPI (while not a dupe) is comparable.

Do you still like textured polishes?  Did you get any from the FingerPaints collection?
