Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara Review

**all items purchased by me/came in gift with purchase

Today's review is of the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara.  I've been using a mini tube of this that came in a gift with purchase.  The full size retails for $20 where ever Elizabeth Arden is sold.

This mascara is supposed to have really good lash-conditioning ingredients.  For how it looks on, it's a very natural look.  I don't end up with clumpy, crunchy lashes.  I only get some length with no volume.  I prefer length, volume and thickness.   The formula was on the drier side compared to some from the beginning, but as it's been open it hasn't gotten noticeably over-dry.  I haven't noticed any smudging or flaking, but this does come off easily with eye makeup remover.
~2 coats~

Our first-ever mascara to be infused with Ceramide Triple Complex and Keravis, which help lengthen, define and revitalize lashes.
  • Lashes are longer and fuller, giving eyes a younger, more vibrant look.
  • Contains our exclusive Ceramide Triple Complex (ceramides 1, 3 and 6) plus vitamins A, C, and E to help reinforce and restore lashes' natural protective barrier.
  • Contains Keravis, a conditioning ingredient known to help strengthen and fortify lashes.
  • Won't smudge, flake or clump.
  • Removes easily with Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye Lip Makeup Remover.

Keravis is a trademark of Croda Inc.

Clinically, dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested.
While it's a nice mascara, it's not one I would go out of my way to purchase when I can get drugstore mascaras I like the look of better.  It's good for a natural look, but I like a bit more to my lashes - especially since I tend to play up my eyes the most.  I do have a full-size of this that I'll use at some point after I get through more of my older (unopened) mascara stash members.  I'll use it again if it comes in any future kits or gifts with purchase I may get, but I wouldn't buy it on it's own.

What do you look for in a mascara?
