Time for me to collect my thoughts on another of the products from my Influenster Rose VoxBox.  Today's review is the Vitabath Hydrating Lotion.  I received the scent Cucumber & White Tea.
From Influenster's site:
Hydrating Lotion

Layer the benefits. Layer the luxury.
Women love to layer fragrance in their beauty routines and throughout the day. But the Vitabath Fragrance Collection offers much more than just fresh scents. Whether you’re cleansing with a favorite scented Body Wash, smoothing the skin with Hydrating Lotion, or spritzing on a Fragrance Mist, your skin is soaking up vitamins that offer unequaled soothing moisture.
• Vitamin A: Works as an antioxidant moisturizing aid making skin look and feel better
• Vitamin B3: Helps improve skin condition by encouraging cell growth
• Vitamin C: Antioxidant that helps soothe and calm inflammation
• Vitamin E: Intense antioxidant to smooth and moisturize skin
• Pro-Vitamin B5: Moisturizes as an anti-inflammatory agent
Along with its famed vitamin blend, Vitabath incorporates natural ingredients from an antioxidant-rich blend of seven superfruits to moisturize, protect, and revitalize your skin. Acai Berry, Goji Berry, Coffee, Noni, Pomegranate, Green Tea, and Mangosteen act as nourishing and conditioning agents to improve the look and feel of skin.

I liked this lotion, but I didn't love it.  The consistency is on the thicker side.  Some days it would sink into the skin on my legs quickly (like on days I had used a salicylic acid containing body wash), but most times it seemed to take forever.  If I tried to apply within just a few minutes of getting out of the shower, then it took even longer to absorb.  This lotion did not have the longest-lasting moisturizing effect for me, either.  I would put this on when I got up for the day and then by around bedtime, my legs would feel dried out again and I'd have to reapply.  Of course, so far this fall/winter season my skin has been extremely dry - more so than I ever remember.  ~Side note: a lot of people I've talked to where I live have been noticing the extra dryness compared to prior years.~
I found the scent to be nice, but not overpowering - that's a good thing.  Lately I've had more of a preference for "clean" or light scents, although if the fragrance is right I do enjoy a stronger scent as well on occasion.

So, would I purchase Vitabath Hydrating Lotion in the future?  I don't believe I would as I prefer a lotion that absorbs more quickly and leaves a longer lasting moisturized feel....although the ones called Dreamy Pink Frosting and Cupcake Couture Luscious Lemon Creme do sound like something I'd at least like to get a whiff of.  To see Vitabath's full product line, click here.  I have seen Vitabath products at Ulta, but definitely not the full line.

Have you used any Vitabath products?  Love them, not so much or just mediocre?
