belVita crunch Breakfast Biscuits - Influenster Product Review

Hi!
**all items received from Influenster

Time to review the other food item in the Rose VoxBox from Influenster!  This is also the final product from my box.  It's the belVita Nutritious Sustained Energy Breakfast Biscuits.  I got the flavor Blueberry.
belVita crunchy Breakfast Biscuits are made with delicious ingredients and carefully baked to release nutritious sustained energy, all morning long. They are a good source of Fiber and B-vitamins, contain no high fructose corn syrup, have 18-20 grams of whole grain per 50 gram serving and taste great, which makes belVita crunchy Breakfast Biscuits perfect for when you are on the go.
Facts:
  • Nutritious sustained energy all morning
  • 18-20 grams of whole grains per 50 gram serving
  • A good source of both energy-releasing B-vitamins + fiber
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • No artificial flavors or sweeteners
There's 4 thin biscuit cookies in the pack, which is one serving at 230 calories (70 from fat).  As a "snack," that's a bit high, but as a meal replacement it might be little low depending on your dietary preference/needs.  There is 18 grams of whole grain per 50 gram serving (4 biscuits). According to the nutritional label, there is 4 grams of protein (but no calcium, vitamin A or C).
I found these to be very dry and the strongest taste was of the whole grains - not enough blueberry pieces to counter the whole grain flavor.  I didn't really enjoy the flavor of these.  After about 3 hours I was hungry again, whereas with my normal breakfast I don't get hungry for 5-6 hours.

So, would I purchase the belVita Breakfast Biscuits?  I don't think I will since I prefer to get more protein for meals.  I'm not big on snacking between meals either so these aren't a good match for me.  For belVita's full product line, click here.

Have you tried anything from the belVita brand?  Like them or not so much?
