Mysterious Curse has a Magic Attraction

Hi!

Since I mentioned yesterday how I am so far behind in posting my ABC polish challenge manis, I figured today would be a good day to get one mani closer to being caught up.  This post brings me to letter...
So, over my usual base of Bridge the Ridge, I did 2 slow coats of Orly Mysterious Curse then applied Out the Door to speed things up.
Orly Mysterious Curse is an interesting blue to purple (or is it the other way around) duo-chrome that has some shimmer to it.  I polished slowly so that all the shimmers would be as neat looking as possible - kind of like applying a frost.  I also made sure to wait for several minutes after applying my base coat to ensure that it was dry all the way.  I've tried to wear this before but I think I went too quick then and had major bubbles on all my nails.  By waiting I avoided that.  Mysterious Curse is from the 2012 Dark Shadows collection.
After Mysterious Curse was good and dry, it was time to spice it up with holo micro-glitters in the form of Color Club Magic Attraction.  1 solid coat on my ring fingers and thumbs and 3 dots on the rest.
Color Club Magic Attraction is gorgeous silver holo micro glitter in a clear base with pretty much perfect consistency.  It was also a bit distracting while driving since it kept catching the sun and sparking like crazy.  Magic Attraction is from the Fall 2008 Glitter Vixen collection.  I got mine in a set from TJ Maxx, hence the hand-written label.
So pretty in the sun!!

I had a bit more fun with this look than a lot since I busted out my dotting tool again!  I really need to use the whole set more often.  I've no idea why I keep forgetting about using it but I always love the results.  I ended up really liking the way that this looked.

Do you have either of these polishes?  Do you have dotting tools but keep forgetting to use them?
