Miscellaneous Monday - Leopard Print and Teal Jewelry

Hi!
**all items purchased by me
It's the return of Miscellaneous Monday!  I'm  hoping that by bringing this feature back, I'll be even more inspired to get back to making things, especially with the holiday season fast approaching.

I thought I'd get this started off by showing the last pieces of jewelry that I made...way back in the spring.  They got a little buried under some other stuff and I found them the other day when I was straightening up more thoroughly than usual.
The gold leopard-print heart and the 2 black bows came as a set (maybe with something else?  I don't remember at this point).  The leopard-print beads came in a kit for something else (I think I got it at Big Lots last year).  I wanted to do something a bit different, and with the way the loops on the back of the heart were placed I decided to do a necklace where the heart would stay centered on the chain and kind of "stabilized" for hanging properly by having chain connecting it on all 3 loops.

This pair of earrings has a main focus of translucent teal-blue beads that are kind of talon-shaped; making them hang from the wire this way was the only thing I could come up with to get them to dangle properly.  I used a couple of matching teal pearl shaped beads for the transition up to the ear wires.

What would you pair with these?...besides black, of course. :-)  Do you make your own holiday decorations or gifts?  Where do you get your inspiration from?
