Spotted, Hauled...part, & Swatched - Maybelline Vintage Leather Polishes!

Hi!
**all items purchased by me

I'm finally getting to the next collection that's waiting to be shared!  It's from the Fall 2013 Maybelline Fashion Week collection - it's the collection of Vintage Leather polishes!  Luckily, this collection is still slowly coming out so I think that if you like anything you see, chances are higher you'll be able to get it.  I'm still considering picking up the rest of the collection (4 more) but for now this is what I've got.  If I do end up getting anymore from this collection, there will be a part 2 to this post.  I paid $2.99 each at Bed, Bath & Beyond...and then was able to use a $5 off store coupon.

As usual, we'll get started with display pictures (2 different displays):
mostly makeup and just 2 polishes
 the other 8 polishes
trying to show more of the colors better

Let's move on to the haul picture:
Label and bottle shots:
855 Antique Teal, 875 Mod Moss, 880 Plush Plum
885 Lasting Lilac, 880 Vintage Violet, 895 Classic Camel

And the necessary swatches:
Antique Teal, Mod Moss, Plush Plum, Lasting Lilac, Vintage Violet, Classic Camel

  • These are all approximately 2 coats, with Lasting Lilac and Vintage Violet using more like 2 and a half  to 3 coats to even it out; Antique Teal barely needed the second coat
  • These all dry quickly to a matte finish that dries
  • Almost completely smooth to the touch (unless you got some of the flakes piled on top of each other) - so while it is a "texture" it is completely different from all the other textures currently available.
This is all that I've purchased from the Fall 2013 Fashion Week collection.  I do like the EyeStudio line of shadows, but I haven't seen any new palettes that are really different from what I already have.  If it's different, then I'm more likely to get it.  I also think that they are a bit on the pricey side for only 4 colors ($7.49 at Bed, Bath & Beyond...around $8 at Walmart...closer to $9/$10 at drugstores).  The Color Sensational lipstick shades did not look like anything that I would be drawn to so I didn't even get any close-up shots of the names/colors.  I have yet to try the Master Smoky Eyeliners (these are core colors), but I've got so many liners right now that I don't have much of an interest in trying them (yet).  I'd say I'm on lip product and eyeliner overload so neither of those products appeal to me.  There's also a Color Sensational lipgloss display, but I either haven't seen it or wasn't interested so I didn't get a picture.

Are you planning on getting any of the Vintage Leather polishes?  Which one would you get?  Did you get anything else from the collection?
