It's Sunday again! That means I'm really wanting ice cream...oh, wait. No, that's not right. What Sunday means is that it's time for Sunday Stash Sharing. I'm still working my way through my Sally Hansen drawer, and this time it's the Complete Salon Manicure line. As far as availability of any of the upcoming pretties, I'm really not sure and it's been making my head hurt trying to figure out which of them came out in what collection for all the limited edition ones so I didn't look up the others (which all have numbers, but I bought most of them on clearance over time so I'm not sure if they are available or not).
Let's get started with the first batch of limited edition polishes:
Without a Stitch and Paparazzi
Summer Plum, Barracuda and Delphinium (lineup picture is more color accurate)
- Without A Stitch and Paparazzi - Spring 2011 Designer Collection for Prabal Gurung
- Summer Plum, Barracuda and Delphinium - Summer 2011 Designer Collection for Tracy Reese
Silver Lining and Hidden Treasure (the original release)
Sequin Scandal, Loves Me Not and Bewitched
When they came out:
- Silver Lining and Hidden Treasure - Spring 2010 Designer Collection for Tracy Reese
- Sequin Scandal - Fall 2010 Designer Collection
- Loves Me Not - Spring 2012 Designer Collection for Prabal Gurung
- Bewitched - Fall 2011 Designer Collection for Tracy Reese
Thinking of Blue and Mermaid's Tale (just purchased Mermaid's Tale last month)
Midnight in NY, Hidden Treasure (different from up above) and Angel Wings
That wraps up all of the Complete Salon Manicure polishes that I own as of now. I'm normally not very drawn to these since it seems that quite a few of the earlier ones I purchased needed at least 3 coats to look like the bottle so that has discouraged me from this line. Despite the claim of having built-in top and base coats, I still feel the need to put on a coat of my own for each. I also feel that this line is over-priced for being a drugstore line. In fact, the majority of these polishes were purchased on clearance. The only one that I've purchased since the line supposedly got a formula change is Mermaid's Tale, and I haven't worn it yet, but it's also the first real "glitter" from this line (not counting the Hidden Treasure flakie) that I know of.
Sally Hansen is available pretty much everywhere - Walmart, Target, KMart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, etc.... The price varies depending on where you purchase - actual drugstores charge closer to $8 each, while Target, Walmart and KMart are less.
Do you like this formula from Sally Hansen? As always, let me know if you'd like to see any of these on the nail soon! Apparently, while I've worn several of these, I've never posted about them or in some cases gotten pictures of them. Bad blogger...
