Spotted, Hauled...A Couple, & Swatched - Maybelline Limited Edition Color Whispers

Hi!
**all items purchased by me

I thought today I'd do a Spotted, Hauled & Swatched post featuring a couple of Maybelline Color Whispers that I picked up from the new limited edition collection just recently (about a week ago).  These are actually my first Color Whispers - I've been trying to minimize purchasing lip products, but I've really been in the mood for a certain color lately - and that color just happened to be in the display.

Let's get started with the display picture, which I snapped at Rite Aid:
according to the photo, the model is wearing Coral Tease

Close up of the labels since I knew I wasn't going to get all of them:
Nude Night Out, Pink Bombshell and Strike A Rose
Plum-Setter, Coral Tease and Red Around Town

And for the 2 that I purchased:
Strike A Rose and Coral Tease

And for swatches - these are built up with a few swipes.
Strike A Rose and Coral Tease

These look pretty glossy, but I haven't actually tried them on the lips yet.  I'll be honest - it's been so hot in the bedroom (where all my makeup is stored) that I have not touched any lipstick-looking products in fear that it will break off from being softened by the heat.  I just recently moved my drawer of lipsticks into my office, which we just put the window air conditioner in, so now I'll be able to try them out.  From swatching these on my hand, Coral Tease has the most color (which I'm happy about since this is the color that really caught my eye).  I'll have to see how it works out when I wear them, since I have a lot of natural pigmentation to my lips.

When I bought them, they were on sale for buy 1 get 1 50% off.  Maybelline tends to go on sale fairly regularly at the drugstores.

Do you have any of the Maybelline Color Whispers (core line or limited editions)?  Like them or not so much?  What's your favorite color?
