Spotted, Hauled...a couple & Swatched - Milani Texture Polishes

**all items purchased by me

I thought today I'd do a little Spotted, Hauled & Swatched post featuring the 2 Milani texture polishes that I got a few weeks ago.  I only got 2 to see how I liked the textured polishes that don't include any glitters or shimmers.  The 2 that I got seemed to be the most unique (at that time - before Sally Hansen Sugar Coats came out) compared to what's in my collection of textured polishes from OPI and Zoya.

Let's start off with the usual display picture:
Tainted in Red, Spoiled in Fuchsia, Aqua Splash, Yellow Mark, Purple Streak, Shady Gray
$3.99 each; Walgreens exclusive (but I think Milani's site did have them)

And now for the 2 that I ended up getting:
903 Aqua Splash and 902 Spoiled in Fuchsia
label shot of Spoiled in Fuchsia is more color accurate

And swatches:
Aqua Splash and Spoiled in Fuchsia
~2 coats each~

I've already worn Aqua Splash on my toes.  It seemed like it is a aqua blue creme polish that just has white particles added to it - like they didn't use aqua colored particles.  It lasted at least a week, but by then I was getting tired of not having shiny or sparkly toes peaking up at me so I took it off.  So what did I decide?  Will I get more of Milani's texture polishes?  Probably not.  I like the ones that have added interest (shimmer or actual glitter pieces) to them so much more.  These also seemed to be the most rough out of the brands that I've tried.

**EDIT - Check out this display from Jordana, featuring texture polishes:
Look familiar?  Apparently Milani and Jordana are sister brands
I found this at Flower Factory so I'm not sure where else it might be...

Did you get any of the Milani Textures?  How do you like them?  What brand of textures do you prefer (if you like them)?
