Miscellaneous Monday - DIY Silver-Toned Necklaces

Hi!

Hope everyone had a nice Easter (if you celebrate the holiday, that is), otherwise hope you had a great Sunday!
Even though March kind of drug by, I still can't believe that it's April now!  That means that sometime this week I should have my March update for Project "Finish This" up. But right now it's time for Miscellaneous Monday! I thought I'd share a couple more necklaces that I made when I was in my last jewelry making spree, which it's been a while since that happened.  I really need to get back into making various crafts again.

Anyway, let's see what 2 necklaces are making their appearance today.

First up is in the simple color scheme of black and silver:

And the other necklace is also simple.  Silver and clear "crystal":

At this point, I don't remember specifically where the supplies came from for either necklace, but most likely the craft section of Walmart was involved, as was the local craft store (but not Jo Ann Fabrics).  Hmmm...now that I'm thinking about it and looking at pictures, I think the chain for the first one came from Gabriel Brothers (on clearance since it was missing it's pendant but I can see a silver tag attached to the chain that says it was originally a New York & Company necklace).

What's your favorite hobby to do in your spare time?  Where do you keep finding inspiration for projects?
