I'm Elated with Orly's Elation Generation

I was trying to decide what to post tonight (which is never an easy task after being in an off-mood for a bit) so I decided to do a nail post.

So what polish is getting it's moment in the spotlight?  Orly Elation Generation from the Spring 2013 Hope and Freedom collection.  Last time I was at Sally's Beauty, the display was still there - but no guarantees on if this pretty will be or not.

This is 3 coats (if I'm remembering correctly) over top of a ridge-filling base coat.
Elation Generation is a gorgeous saturated pink that has a touch of red to it - promo pictures made me think it was red.  And there's lots of little holographic shimmers that are nicely apparent.  I'd say the polish is on the jelly-side of finishes.  I don't recall any issues with application, but I do think it dried a touch slowly (I don't remember if I used a fast dry top coat or not).

I love how this looks on the nail!  I don't even mind horribly that I paid full price (well...Sally's beauty card discounted price).  Normally I try to only buy Orly polishes on clearance.  This is the perfect color for Spring and Summer.  I can see myself wearing this pretty a lot...unless I challenge myself to only wear un-trieds for a while.

Did you get any polishes from the Hope and Freedom collection?  Do you know of any similar polishes (dupes) to this?  How long does it take you to recover from an off-mood?
