Girls' Day Out Mini Haul!

I've got a little mini sized haul to share that took place when I was spending the day with my mom about a week or so ago.  I really did well with not buying much that day, so I'm proud of myself.

For our first stop after lunch, we went to Jo Ann Fabrics.  I only bought 2 things, both of which were needed to do sewing repairs and alterations - cording and heavy duty thread.  Nothing too interesting or pretty to look at, so no picture.

Moving on, we went to Charming Charlie's for the first time.  This store has only been around for a year or less where I live.  I had been wanting to go but never had the time and since that day we didn't have any distinct plans, I decided I wanted to go there & she had to go where I went since she wasn't allowed to drive.  She ended up loving the selection there and wants to go back soon.  I got just 2 things since I was really trying to restrain myself.  If the prices had been closer to Forever 21's, I might have gotten a few more things.
Nail Lacquer in White Snow
pretty royal blue floral stretch-band ring
(I can't wait until I don't have to wear gloves every moment I'm out of the house so I can wear this ring!)

And we did the usual Walmart stop for some groceries and other necessities to finish up the running around.  I just got 2 extra things, using the last of my coupons the day before they expired.
Revlon LipButters in 010 Raspberry Pie and 001 Pink Truffle

See?  I showed lots of restraint!  Only 4 pretties and 2 necessities.  That is amazingly well for a shopaholic like me.

Anything you see that catches your eye?  Something you have already and love?  Have you been to Charming Charlie's before? What'd you think?
