Wintery Blue Nails

Today I've got a recent nail look that I wore.  Hope you like it!  I was in a blue mood that day, but still wanted some sparkles so let's see what I came up with.

As usual, I started with my base coat of Bridge the Ridge and then followed that up with 2 coats of OPI Yodel Me on My Cell.  I think I used a quick dry top coat, but I'm not 100% positive.

Look at that shimmer!

Yodel Me on My Cell likes to show up differently depending on the lighting situation, with it sometimes looking more teal and other times almost more of a royal blue, but always with a shimmer that makes it glow.  Love this and I can't believe how long it's been since I've worn this.  This color is one of the first blue polishes I ever bought when I first started getting back into nail polish.  I picked this up in a clearance cart at the grocery store.

While I loved this polish on it's own, I was feeling extra sparkly that day, so I added a coat of Essie Silver Bullions.
Silver Bullions made this look like a perfect icy-blue winter mani

Essie Silver Bullions consists of delicate little silver sparkles in a clear base.  I think Silver Bullions will look pretty over other colors as well.  This combo is making me almost wish it would snow...almost.

What was the first polish shade that you purchased when you really got into polish?
What colors would you put Silver Bullions over?
