Project "Finish This Stuff," part 14

I've got another post for Project "Finish This Stuff" featuring September and October finishes!  I did pretty good for finishing things in September, but October was a slow month.  At least I'm finishing things, which always feels good.  After this installment, there should be one more for the year with a total number of things finished for the entire year.

Let's see what met it's end in September:
Avon Foot Works Therapeautic Cracked Heel Relief Cream First Aid Antiseptic (left): umm...not sure what to say about this one.  I had used it a lot at one point, then it got lost in the shuffle.  When I found it & went to use it there was only 1 use left.  If I remember correctly, I loved this stuff when my hands were chapped from the last nasty winter we had a couple years ago.  Might repurchase if my hands get in really bad shape again this winter (it helps that I'm getting over my hate of ordering online). By the way, this one and the next Avon product were gift from my Grandma.
Avon Corn & Callus Softening Balm (top right):  This was a hard product to use since it was so firm in the tub.  I ended up using this the most during the summer when it was so hot inside that it had really melted.  It worked pretty well at making my feet soft, but I really didn't care for the packaging.  Won't repurchase.
Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticles HandCreme (right):  I received this from Influenster earlier in the year, and I also used up a full size tube of this last year.  I really do like the product & the way it smells....but I'm not crazy about how hard it is to get the last of the creme out of the tube (especially the full sized, which I sliced open).   This is a maybe repurchase.
Ponds Evening Soothe with chamomile & white tea: received in a Target Beauty Bag.  Out of all the wipes I finished during the summer, I think were the best.  I might repurchase, especially if I'm planning on going out of town since these did remove my mascara without too much tugging/scrubbing.
Vaseline Lip Therapy Advanced Formula skin protectant:  For some reason, even though this is another Vaseline Lip Therapy, it did better for me than the one in the tub.  But, I probably won't repurchase since I want something to really moisturize, not just a protectant.
Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup in 220 Nude:  My favorite foundation (that I've tried thus far).  After I finish other liquid foundations, I will most likely repurchase...just in a different/lighter shade this time.
Bath & Body Works Antibacterial Handsoap in Sweet Pea and White Citrus:  Love both the scents.  Have gone through several sweet peas and a couple white citruses in the past.  Will repurchase again.
Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser:  This worked pretty well for cleansing and it did remove the makeup, but after a while, I got tired of it since my skin did get a little too tight feeling after using this.  I actually liked it better for washing makeup brushes - especially the colorstay foundation formulas, but that's not the most economical thing to use.  It was also hard to pump out once it got pretty low.  Won't repurchase.
CVS Eye Makeup Remover oil-free:  I love this stuff!  I've gone through multiple bottles, have another currently in use, and 2 more under the counter.  Definitely will repurchase.

And let's see what I finished in October:
Neutrogena Visibly Bright Daily Facial Cleanser: received in a Target Beauty Bag.  I did like this cleanser; I don't recall it being too drying, which I am currently having problems with.  I'm not sure how much I saw for results, but it was only a sample-sized tube.  I might purchase.
Crystal Waters Spa shower gel in Mandarin Orange: purchased from Dollar Tree.  Happy to see this gone from the stash.  The scent wasn't as medicine-y smelling as the previous one I used up, but I was still happy the scent didn't last beyond the shower.  Won't repurchase.
Jergens Daily Moisture foil packet: received in a Target Beauty Bag.  This was alright, but Jergens isn't my favorite lotion brand.  Won't purchase.
Crest 3D White Vivid toothpaste:  Love this stuff!  It's a toss-up between this one and Crest 3D white with enamel renewal.  I'm currently working on a backup of this, and I think I still have another under the counter.  I do feel the enamel renewal formula is just a tiny bit better.
L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer sample card: came in Target Beauty Bag.  Didn't like this sample.  I felt like applied under foundation, it made my long-wearing foundation last less long.  And since I get oily looking pretty easily, the last thing I need is a light infusing primer.  Won't purchase.
Garnier BB Cream sample card (2): These were requested samples, and I am so glad that I did not purchase this product.  I only used the light/medium shade from both packets, and I looked orange.  Yuck.  This also didn't work with my skin type.  Won't purchase.

So there's my product finishes for September and October.  I'm happy that I got that much finished, but I do wish there would have been more things finished.  I am finding that I don't have nearly as many half-used products sitting around, and my sample stash is definitely diminishing, so that's probably why I'm finishing less and less as time goes.  But I'm definitely going to continue on.  I've also recently sorted through and pulled out some makeup items that I don't use at all, as well as duplicate products that I will be giving to a couple of my cousins.

Have you been finishing any products lately?  How do you decide what needs to be finished?

**all products purchased by me or received as requested samples or as a gift
**all opinions are my own
