A Bubble? Mani

Today I have a mani that I wore about a week ago.  Revlon Top Speed in Bubble.  I have no idea what Revlon was thinking when they named a bright pink color "bubble."  My mom was with me and she suggested maybe Revlon was thinking of the pink bubblegum.  Who knows for sure.  Anyway...

  • 1 coat Pro FX Fiberized Ridge Filler base coat
  • 2 coats Revlon Top Speed Bubble
No topcoat, in lamp light

Somehow, I came up with this interesting shot that I really love.  :)

As you can see in this not-so-great picture of the bottle, I got this on clearance (I think last year) from Target, and it seems like I used a coupon so it was even cheaper.  It is still available at other stores for around $5 or so.

I got about 2 days good wear before little chips started to show up but left it on for 3-4 days.  This was without topcoat and while working outside in the garden.  I'd say that's pretty good for the wear and tear the polish went through.

Do you have any theories as to what companies think about when naming products & colors?
