Greek Isles...revisited

When I was swatching/wearing Greek Isles from the Sinful Colors Cast Away collection, it didn't take me long to decide that the polish needed something.  I was in the mood for a little sparkle in my nail life and Greek Isles by itself was not delivering.  So...I went to the polish closet to look through for a little buddy to go with it.

What I found is L'Oreal Silver Sparkle #162 from the "It's Gold or Nothing At All" Summer 2012 collection.  I purchased this pretty from Rite Aid for $3.39 (10% off Wellness card + $1 off coupon).  The polish retails for around $5, and I've seen it at both Rite Aid and Walgreens.
  • 2 coats of Sinful Colors Greek Isles
  • 1 coat of L'Oreal Silver Sparkle #162 on the ring fingers as accents.

Much better.  Silver Sparkle is a dense silver glitter that has a tendency to reflect in different colors.  I thought it looked particularly nice on Greek Isles...kind of made it look more watery.  Like the sun sparkling off turquoise water.  Silver Sparkle, despite being so densely packed, dried nice and smooth with a good shine to it.  I did not put any top coat over it.  I was actually kind of sad when the chores of running a household made my mani start to chip and lift off.

Have you picked up L'Oreal's Silver Sparkle yet?
