Necklaces I've Made

I have been in a major crafting mood lately and more specifically, jewelry making.  I found a cool-looking line of jewelry pieces at Jo Ann Fabrics called "Rebel Shine" a few months ago and have been slowly working on making items.

The above necklace is made with the following:

  • Black Rose with Filigree Accent (Rebel Shine #34698125)
  • 22 inch Metal Chain Necklace in black (Blue Moon Beads #02065)--came with clasp and ball on ends (this is also from Jo Ann Fabrics)
  • 1 black metal jump ring

The necklace above is made with:

  • Acrylic/Metal Lace Accent (Rebel Shine # 34698124)
  • pre-made multi-strand necklace from Walmart (2 per pack; found in the $1 box in jewelry supplies)--came with a clasp and chain on ends
  • 1 8mm black bead
  • 1 flat clear bead (like a large seed bead)
  • 1 silver head pin
The pendant isn't showing up well in the photo.  It is a clear faceted "gem" with a small black lace overlay and has a black metal filigree-type edge around it.  The necklace part consists of: 1 strand sheer black ribbon, 3 strands black cording and 1 narrow-silver edged ribbon.

The above necklace has 3 parts:

  • Open Rose Accent (Rebel Shine # 34698123)
  • pre-made multi-strand necklace from Walmart (2 per pack; found in the $1 box in jewelry supplies)--came with a clasp and chain on ends
  • 1 antiqued silver spacer bead
  • 1 silver head pin

I might not have much experience in making necklaces and other pieces of jewelry, but so far I am pleased with the way that these 3 necklaces have come out.

**All items purchased by me
